عن دار صبري يوسف بالسويد صدر كتاب «شاعرات، مبدعات، ملهمات وحداثويات» للكاتب والناقد حميد عقبي ويقدم هذا الكتاب مشروعا نقديا حاول أن يتجاوز العرض التعريفي أو التأريخي، ليقترح إعادة إدخال تجارب نسائية عالمية مؤثرة إلى فضاء القراءة العربية، بعد أن ظلت لعقود طويلة غائبة أو مهمشة، رغم مكانتها الراسخة في النقد والدراسات العالمية.
يضم الكتاب تأملات نقدية وتحليلية لتجارب اثنتي عشرة شاعرة وكاتبة من قارات وثقافات مختلفة، تمتد من القرن الثامن عشر حتى النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين. يتناول عقبي أعمال فيليس ويتلي، روزاليا دي كاسترو، يوسانو أكيكو، الأخوات ناردال، جوليا دي بورغوس، كيم هاي سون، مايا أنجلو، سوزان لوري باركس، لينا ريتر، أنجيلا دوفال، أدريان ريتش، ومهاسويتا ديفي، واضعا نصوصهن في سياقاتها الاجتماعية والسياسية والتاريخية.
تكمن أهمية هذه التجارب في أنها أسهمت فعليا في تشكيل الحداثة الشعرية والفكرية في بلدانها، وشاركت في بلورة مفاهيم كبرى مثل مقاومة العبودية، تفكيك الاستعمار، الدفاع عن الجسد والهوية، مساءلة السلطة الذكورية، وبناء خطاب ثقافي بديل من موقع الهامش. كثير من هذه الأسماء تدرس اليوم في الجامعات الغربية، وتعد مرجعيات أساسية في دراسات الأدب المقارن، النسوية، وما بعد الاستعمار.
غير أن القارئ العربي نادرا ما تعرف على هذه الأصوات، إما بسبب ضعف الترجمة، أو هيمنة المركزيات الأدبية الغربية الذكورية، أو انغلاق النقد العربي على دوائر مألوفة. من هنا تأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب بوصفه جسرا معرفيا، يفتح أفقا جديدا أمام القارئ العربي، ويعيد الاعتبار لتجارب إبداعية عالمية لم تغب لقلة قيمتها، بل لأن الهامش غالبا ما يقصى عن الضوء.

The book seeks to reintroduce influential women’s literary experiences to the Arabic reading space—experiences that remained absent or marginalized for decades, despite their strong presence in international criticism and academic studies.
The book offers critical reflections and analytical readings of the work of twelve poets and writers from different continents and cultural backgrounds, spanning from the eighteenth century to the second half of the twentieth century. Oqabi discusses the works of Phillis Wheatley, Rosalía de Castro, Yosano Akiko, the Nardal Sisters, Julia de Burgos, Kim Hye-soon, Maya Angelou, Suzan-Lori Parks, Lina Ritter, Angela Duval, Adrienne Rich, and Mahasweta Devi, placing their texts within their social, political, and historical contexts.
The importance of these experiences lies in their real contribution to shaping poetic and intellectual modernity in their countries. They played a key role in developing major ideas such as resistance to slavery, the critique of colonialism, the defense of the body and identity, the questioning of patriarchal power, and the creation of alternative cultural voices from the margins. Many of these writers are now widely taught in Western universities and are considered essential references in comparative literature, feminist studies, and postcolonial studies.
Yet the Arab reader has rarely encountered these voices, due to weak translation efforts, the dominance of Western male-centered literary canons, or the limited scope of Arabic literary criticism. This book therefore acts as a bridge of knowledge, opening new horizons for the Arab reader and restoring attention to global creative experiences that were not absent because they lacked value, but because voices from the margins are often kept out of the spotlight.
